Drug Dealers Busted by Undercover Student |
|
(6/1/98) Watch out, your classmate may be an undercover cop. In Toronto, Canada, a 27-year-old police officer posed as a student to find the school's drug dealers. This happened in Canada, but since the officer's efforts led to the arrest of 14 students, United States police officers may try similar tactics.
Classmates believed that the officer was a 19-year-old former dropout, who was getting his last two credits in small engines and food preparation to complete his high school diploma. The officer maintained the identity for two months, as he hung out with his new friends at the mall, looked for summer jobs with them and even started a water fight at school.
