(6/7/98) I am very pleased to announce that in the State of Florida, in the teeny tiny County of Suwannee, a proposed teen curfew ordinance was dropped. It seems that in considering the additional cost needed to uphold the teen curfew
ie extra police, extra judges, public defenders, housing the offenders, fighting the ACLU, fighting the business owners who would be forced to act as unpaid police agents etc...the curfew just was not necessary.
Did I mention elections are not that far off? I truly believe that our County Commissioners paid a worthwhile trip to Oz and received valuable gifts from the Wizard.
